240U-E

The 240U-E provides reliable and secure high speed wireless Ethernet connectivity across a broad range of applications in process and automation plants.  It connects to PLC’s, HNI, Data acquisition, video devices and industrial PC’s.  The 240U-E can operate as a serial modem and Ethernet modem simultaneously.  Each module can be configured as an access point, bridge, repeater, client/station or router.  The 240U-E has an Ethernet port (10/100 BaseT) as well as two serial ports (RS232 and RS485) and on-board I/O for local and remote link status or external status transfer.

The 240U-E is suitable for long and short range applications as it has a high Rf output (100 or 300 mW) and superior receiver sensitivity which gives excellent penetration in congested industrial environments.  Repeater functionality increases wireless range even further.
